Has anyone noticed my prediction on when the Cash for Clunkers fiasco will end? Not to toot my own horn, but was I dead on or WHAT??? With the careless spending by our BIG gov't, I cannot help but wonder if we are digging our own grave. I do not think Cash for Clunkers was anywhere as near successful as anticipated. Okay, it helped the industry push a half million cars, but at what price? And the thought of these 'Clunkers' being used in underdeveloped countries completely blows my mind.

While I have a great deal of respect for Drs. Kaplan and Norton, there are some that might question the statement that they developed the Balanced Scorecard. Certainly popularized it and probably codified it. I don’t want to understate their contributions but others had significant impact as well (http://www.schneiderman.com/Concepts/The_First_Balanced_Scorecard/BSC_INTRO_AND_CONTENTS.htm).
